VOICES OF BACH

A short film which reveals a plethora of emotions hidden behind the music of Bach's Partita II for Solo Violin. Voices of Bach showcases a reinterpreted, contemporary view of the Renaissance dances relevant to each movement, complemented by spoken word inspired by texts taken from Bach Chorales in response to each dancer's solo choreography. 

Classical works as famous as this are often overlooked, so we wanted to produce an outcome which rightfully acknowledges the ideology and deeply rooted emotions, which are associated with each movement of Bach's Partita II, in a dynamic and creative way.
